Modified Schober Test

In the manual therapy video below, NAIOMT' faculty member Terry Pratt demonstrates an alternative way to measure lumbar ROM. The Modified Schober test is typically used to assess for Ankylosing Spondylitis, but you can use this method to simply measure lumbar excursion in flexion. Validity for this test is moderate and it has excellent reliability.
